Tagging the official social media accounts of Sachet, Parampara, and T-Series, Nilanjana wrote, "Please report this company as well as Sachet-Parampara as they have used my husband Rajarshi Mitter's track without any permission or any legal action in their pukish Bollywood film titled Maiyya (Do Patti)" The Flaming Singer Lashing out at him, the singer said, "I am asking all my fellow musicians and artistes to shame this music director and the entire joker T-Series music company! The song, which was originally sung by legendary Pakistani singer Reshma, has been recreated with peppy beats, and it seems Adnan did not like it. In the song, Kriti can be seen showing off her killer moves in a red latex bodycon outfit, the new version is sung by Shilpa Rao Adnan criticized the song on his ex account. He wrote, "Copying can be flattery, but not when it means ripping off a classic song created by a legend. Please show some respect to Reshma Ji and the legacy she has left behind. Her music should be treated with the respect it deserves, not reduced to just another disgusting copy." Kriti made her debut as a producer with Do Patti. She also appeared in a double role for the first time. In this film, Kajol played the role of a police officer and Shaheer Sheikh played the role of Kriti's husband.
